China’s Largest LNG Membrane Tank Roof Lifted Up

At 10:40, June 7, 2021, after 153 minutes’ air lifting, the first 220,000 cubic meter membrane tank HQC is building under an EPC contract for the Beijing Gas Group’s Nangang LNG Emergency Reserves Project was successfully erected up in Tianjin. The building of this storage tank registers a record in China in the volume of a single LNG membrane tank, pioneeringly realizing the very first application of the membrane construction technology to a large-scale onshore LNG storage tank.
